Evan Kopelson studied Sustainable Development at Loyola Law School's Central America Program in 1991. In 2008 he established Green Media Consulting, Inc. to provide business consulting services on triple bottom line sustainability. Green Media Consulting Inc's founding principal Evan Kopelson worked as a lawyer for Capitol Records from 1993 - 1995 and specialized in licensing and contracts. He retired from law practice in 1996 after writing the song "Where Do We Go From Here" and winning the BMI Pop Award. The song became one of Vanessa Williams' Greatest Hits. From 1996 - 1999 Evan Kopelson composed music for film and television including credits in the film "Wag The Dog" starring Robert De Niro and Dustin Hoffman, and the hit television series"Ripley's Believe It Or Not" starring Dean Cain. Evan Kopelson grew up in the entertainment business and worked in development and production for many of his early years alongside his father, Academy-Award winning producer Arnold Kopelson. He worked for Academy-Award winning director Oliver Stone as 2nd Unit Assistant Director on the Oscar-winning film "Platoon" and went on to produce an award-winning documentary in Auschwitz, Poland called "The Making of Triumph of the Spirit" starring Willem Dafoe, Edward James Elmos, and Robert Loggia. Evan Kopelson took a spiritual hiatus from the entertainment business to study yoga and related healing modalities. He earned several yoga teaching certifications from 2004 - 2006 and studied Sanskrit at Loyola Marymount University's Yoga Philosophy Program in 2004. The reason for founding Green Media Consulting Inc and the Green Media News blog is that the world is in crisis, and that means there are tremendous opportunities to take advantage of where the energy is shifting. It just takes clarity of vision. Different businesses need different things, and sometimes there are so many options it's hard to see clearly.
